I watched the chocolate paint your lips
as the sunshine sprawled across your hips
oh then, way back when

I thought that you were mine
because you told me all the time

Like a flower floating in the morning mist
filled with ghosts and graveyards when we kissed
so much from a touch

but the tide came in and our tower tilted
you went cold, our flower wilted down
to the the ground
